Add-ons

The Dark Mod itself used to be a mod for the game Doom 3, but it is also possible to mod it by installing add-ons. A few of thes exist already, and they enhance the gameplay or the visuals:

The shader also adds other TDM 1.03 effects like more shading on the underside of geometry and it makes the ambient darker with distance to the player which is also a natural effect and enhances the sense of depth between near and far objects.
