Health potion
The Health potion is used for healing wounds the player character had accumulated during the course of a mission. In gameplay terms, they restore the bar in the health indicator part of the HUD. Health potions are not usable when the player character's health is already at full capacity.
Players can buy health potions in the pre-mission shop offered before some missions, or find it in various locations during the course of a mission (they tend to be fairly plentiful, especially in human dwellings and their storerooms). Rationing health potions and using them when most needed is important, especially in missions that offer little or no health potions, or little to no opportunities to replenish their numbers.

The breath potion is used for replenishing the amount of breath left for the player character in an environment without breathable air. Their most common use is while swimming underwater or diving. The player character has a finite amount of breath
Players can buy breath potions in the pre-mission shop offered before some missions, or find it in various locations during the course of a mission (they tend to be much more uncommon than the more ubiquitous health potions). Rationing breath potions and using them when most needed is important, especially in missions that offer little or no breath potions, or little to no opportunities to replenish their numbers.
In-game description
Breath potion: Often commissioned by trade guilds, these potions allow the user to avoid breathing for a time--very useful when swimming or working around poisonous fumes.
