The spyglass is a small, collapsible, handheld monocular telescope, available for the player's inventory as an observation tool.
Player characters can use the spyglass to spy on specific areas or non-player characters from a safe distance, and assess the situation in the environment they're currently in or plan to traverse. When deployed, the spyglass temporarily alters the in-game view to one through the spyglass' lenses, and magnifies the view. The magnification is fixed and it is not possible to increase or decrease it.
