===Clothing, Body Models, and Female Roles in the Standard Distribution=== by Geep 2021

In the following photos, only the default heads on the female bodies are shown; the attention is on the clothing.

Rogue Styles

Figure 1. Rogue Styles

Applies to:

  • ai_guard_female_rogue (shown)
  • ai_female_rogue (same looks, just different behavior)

Skins shown (left to right):

  • wench/default (coarse brown short skirt and green bodice)
  • wench/purple_bodice (purple patterned short skirt and brown bodice)
  • wench/green_dress (green patterned short skirt and matching bodice)
  • wench/grey_dress (grey patterned short skirt and matching bodice)

Skins not shown:

  • wench/default_bareneck, which is a legacy and results in the same effect as (a).
  • wench/default_barefeet, not really pertinent here; same effect as (a)

The skins used here are the same as used by the wench, but the results are cleverly somewhat different.

The patterns and colors in these short skirts are the same as those in the wench’s long skirts. The two "dress" styles approximate dresses by using fabric patterns that paint over everything, including the lacings and grommets, still slightly visible in-game (but not in the DR image here) as bumpmaps.

Thief Styles

Thief Styles [right 2]

Applies to: • atdm:ai_female_thief (shown) • atdm:ai_female_thief_archer (would have bow instead of shortsword) Skins shown: a. default b. no_shoulder_stuff (no epaulets or shoulder straps) c. TO DO: no_shoulder_straps (keeps epaulets)

Wench & Whore Styles

Figure 2. Wench & Whore Styles

Applies to:

  • atdm:ai_townsfolk_wench,
  • atdm:ai_townsfolk_wench_armed (shown)
  • atdm:ai_whore

Default or skins shown, left to right:

  • wench/default (coarse brown long skirt and green bodice)
  • wench/purple_bodice (purple patterned long skirt and brown bodice)
  • wench/green_dress (green patterned long skirt and brown bodice)
  • wench/grey_dress (grey patterned long skirt and green bodice)

Skins not shown:

  • wench/default_bareneck, which is a legacy and results in the same effect as (a).
  • wench/default_barefeet, same as (a) but without shoes. The default style for whore.

These skins are defined in tdm_ai_humanoid_townsfolk01.pk4\skins\tdm_ai_townsfolk_wench.skin

Townsfolk Styles

Figure 3. Townsfolk Styles

Applies to:

  • atdm:ai_townsfolk_female

Skins shown:

  • default (gray dress)
  • green_dress
  • brown_dress

The difference between these very dark colors is not prominent except in bright light.

Noblewoman Styles

Figure 4. Noblewoman Styles

Applies to:

  • atdm:ai_noblewoman01

Skins shown:

  • default (blue & white dress)
  • white_dress (gold & white dress)
  • dark_violet (dark violet & white dress)

Mage Styles

Figure 5. Mage Styles

Applies to:

  • atdm:ai_archmage01_female (shown left)
  • atdm:ai_mage01_female (shown right)

The mage robe, accessorized in two different ways as shown, has a cowl to facilitate pairing with a hooded head.
