Plan
Currently I am re-organizing the wiki, cleaning up the content etc.:
- Re-organize content into categories (done)
- Write templates for this (done)
- Go through all pages and sort them in the right categories
- Fix all the found errors by making sure the following lists are empty:
As a side-effect, when this is all done, I will have read almost every page on this wiki, and thus aquired a vast and rich knowledge of all things about DarkMod, DarkRadiant, Mapping, Editing etc. and thus can start with more fun things like:
- Creating maps
- Making textures
- Enhancing DarkRadiant

About me
I have been a avid Thief erm *cough* player since Thief 1 - although since Thief 3 did (does?) not run under Linux, I have not yet played Thief 3.
In addition to playing a lot too much Thief, I also dabbled in mapping with DromEd.
Since creating maps manually is quite time-consuming, error-prone (especially with DromEd :), back then I wrote a few scripts to automate the process. The CoW project is now largely defunct, but you can still get some old article about it from the linkgs below.
Some day I intent to recreate helper scripts in Radiant/DarkRadiant to automate boring mapping duties.
