If you're not already in Animation layout, press Ctrl+Shift+2
In the Character Controls pane, click Edit, Plot Character, Skeleton
Press Ctrl+Shift+1 to go to Creation layout
In the Navigation pane, expand "Characters" and double click the name of your character
Under the Character Settings tab, click the Mirror check box
Press Ctrl+Shift+2 to return to Animation Layout
Once again, in the Character Controls pane, click Edit, Plot Character, Control Rig (same as before but button now says "Control Rig" instead of Skeleton)
