Introduction

These are snapshots of Dark Mod fonts used on in-game readables. See Readables and Readables Prefabs for useage. Not all necessarily have prefabs ready to go. The default font of the official Dark Mod logo's and menu's is Dark11.

The Fonts

These are the fonts. The comments are mere opinion to suggest useage but use your own judgement.

Andrew Script

Clear upright handwriting.

Bamberg Gothic

Heavy gothic. Suit formal builder books & scrolls. Also an 'illumined' capital gui version for this.

Camberic

Ancient celtic type perhaps suit pagan?

Carleton Caps only

2-size caps so 2-fontsize gui gives 4, suits notices.

Carolingia

Ancient Celtic type perhaps suit pagan or even semi-formal Builder text?

ChrisHand

Untidy scrawl. Not very legible so care needed with clues. Note: the capitals look very poor together in words all in capitals but singly they are tolerable.

Dark11

Default TDM logo/graphic font. Gothic Medieval font if you wish to convey living in the days of serfdom, kings & thieves in steampunk setting.

Ellianerelle

Upright handwriting, suit general messages, diaries.

Everett

Untidy scrawl. Intentionally difficult to read some words so take care if important clues.

Gothica2

Suit formal builder books & scrolls. Note: the capitals look very poor together in words all in capitals but singly they are tolerable.

JD Hand

General purpose medium handwriting.

Lotharus

Unattractive scrawling caligraphic font suit some official builder document or letter maybe.

Mac Humaine

Attractive caligraphic font suit some neat literate official document or letter maybe.

Medusa

Attractive caligraphic font reminiscent of Celtic(?) suit document or pagan maybe?

Nancy

General purpose clear bold upright handwriting suit messages, diaries, logs.

Popsies

General purpose sloping handwriting suit messages, diaries, logs.

Rapscallion Pirate

Flamboyant gothic style suit pirate message, scroll, captain's log, treasure map or any old document or message etc.

Shopping List

Rough, clumsy handwriting, suit semi-literate message or diary.

Stone Print

Neat serif printed font suit official notices on scrolls, printed books, etc.

Summertime

Neat, clear attractive, handwriting. Suit messages, scrolls, diaries.

Treasure Map

Flamboyant Gothic style suit pirate message, scroll, captain's log, treasure map or any old document or message etc.
